2005-06-17no longer a need for the free(malloc(1)) hack, because the brk stuffderaadt1-9/+5

2005-05-27Experimental support for opportunitic use of jumbograms where only some hostsmcbride1-8/+22
on the local network support them. This adds a new socket option, SO_JUMBO, and a new route flag, RTF_JUMBO. If _both_ the socket option is set and the route for the host has RTF_JUMBO set, ip_output will fragment the packet to the largest possible size for the link, ignoring the card's MTU. The semantics of this feature will be evolving rapidly; talk to us if you intend to use it. ok deraadt@ marius@

2005-05-20Teach the SOCKS5 code more of the protocol, so it can send domain namesdjm1-56/+102

* introduce the mbstate_t typedef. impacts gnu libiconv, which has already been taken care of. * Prepare for mb stuff to really exist, replace macro MB_CUR_MAX with an external variable __mb_cur_max (impacts libX11 and various ports). * use mbstate in all the mb <-> wchar functions with state. * add a stub iswctype function allowing some ports to compile. bash and gdiff are missing wcscoll, and need to be told there's no i18n until this is fixed. Discussed and matthieu, otto, millert, kettenis, deraadt. Major libc bump
