| | | | | | CID 532326 ok djm jsing
* Remove EVP_PKEY.*attr* APItb2024-08-311-81/+1
| | | | | | I ranted enough about this recently. PKCS#12. Microsoft. 'nuff said. ok beck jsing
* Neuter EVP_PKEY_add1_attr_by_NID()tb2024-08-221-36/+5
| | | | | | | The last consumer in openssl(1) pkcs12 has been removed, so we no longer need this function. ok miod
* Rewrite EVP_PKEY_add1_attr_by_NID()tb2024-07-141-11/+41
| | | | | | | Instead of jumping through many layers that cause headache, we can achieve the same in an entirely straightforward way without losing clarity. ok jsing
* Disable most EVP_PKEY_*attr* APItb2024-07-141-14/+17
| | | | | | | | There is a single consumer of this entire family of function, namely the openssl(1) pkcs12 command uses EVP_PKEY_add1_attr_by_NID, so leave that one intact for now. ok jsing
* Hide public symbols in x509.hbeck2024-04-091-1/+12
| | | | | | | This picks up most of the remaining public symbols in x509.h ok tb@
* Unbreak the namespace build after a broken mk.conf and tool misfire hadbeck2023-07-071-12/+1
| | | | | | | | me aliasing symbols not in the headers I was procesing. This unbreaks the namespace build so it will pass again ok tb@
* Hide symbols in hkdf, evp, err, ecdsa, and ecbeck2023-07-071-1/+12
| | | | | | (part 2 of commit) ok jsing@
* Make internal header file names consistenttb2022-11-261-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Libcrypto currently has a mess of *_lcl.h, *_locl.h, and *_local.h names used for internal headers. Move all these headers we inherited from OpenSSL to *_local.h, reserving the name *_internal.h for our own code. Similarly, move dtls_locl.h and ssl_locl.h to dtls_local and ssl_local.h. constant_time_locl.h is moved to constant_time.h since it's special. Adjust all .c files in libcrypto, libssl and regress. The diff is mechanical with the exception of tls13_quic.c, where #include <ssl_locl.h> was fixed manually. discussed with jsing, no objection bcook
* Include evp_locl.h where it will be needed once most structs fromtb2021-12-121-1/+2
| | | | | | evp.h will be moved to evp_locl.h in an upcoming bump. ok inoguchi
* Add const to EVP_PKCS82PKEY().tb2018-08-241-2/+2
| | | | | tested in a bulk by sthen ok jsing
* After removing support for broken PKCS#8 formats (it was high time),tb2018-08-241-2/+2
| | | | | | | | we can add const to PKCS8_pkey_get0(). In order for this to work, we need to sprinkle a few consts here and there. tested in a bulk by sthen ok jsing
* Remove EVP_PKEY2PKCS8_broken() and PKCS8_set_broken()tb2018-08-241-30/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Provide PKCS8_pkey_add1_attr_by_NID() and PKCS8_pkey_get0_attrs(). Remove the whole broken code and simplify pkcs8_priv_key_info_st accordingly. Based on OpenSSL commit 54dbf42398e23349b59f258a3dd60387bbc5ba13 plus some const that was added later. tested in a bulk build by sthen ok jsing
* Add a const qualifier to the ASN1_OBJECT * argument of the following:tb2018-05-131-2/+3
| | | | | | | | EVP_PKEY_get_attr_by_OBJ(3), X509at_get_attr_by_OBJ(3), X509at_get0_data_by_OBJ(3), X509_REQ_get_attr_by_OBJ(3) tested in a bulk by sthen ok beck (as part of a larger diff)
* Send the function codes from the error functions to the bit bucket,beck2017-01-291-15/+10
| | | | | | as was done earlier in libssl. Thanks inoguchi@ for noticing libssl had more reacharounds into this. ok jsing@ inoguchi@

* Only import cryptlib.h in the four source files that actually need it.jsing2014-07-111-3/+5
| | | | | | | | Remove the openssl public includes from cryptlib.h and add a small number of includes into the source files that actually need them. While here, also sort/group/tidy the includes. ok beck@ miod@

* Replace all use of ERR_add_error_data with ERR_asprintf_error_data.beck2014-04-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This avoids a lot of ugly gymnastics to do snprintfs before sending the bag of strings to ERR, and eliminates at least one place in dso_dlfctn.c where it was being called with the incorrect number of arguments and using random things off the stack as addresses of strings. ok krw@, jsing@
